…Maternity…

I love maternity sessions, and I especially enjoy them when I have a beautiful mama who is comfortable in her own skin and appreciates the more artistic and dramatic images.

Amanda and her beautiful daughter were great to work with, and I think this first photo of the two of them is my new favorite maternity image.

And did you know we make maternity sessions VERY simple here at Kimberly Meng Photography? Instead of session fees and choosing portraits you pay one flat fee. That fee covers the session, a $100 print credit to be spent however you like, and a beautiful leather album filled with your finished images in 5×7 size. Just some recent sessions!

Most of my recent session shares have been happening on facebook, but I thought I’d try to get a few more going here as well.

Trying to get back into the swing things after 2 weeks closed…and surgery! Ugh, I am not feeling great right now. But looking at my schedule I see lots of weekday openings left for January – we can’t have that! January is always a slow month, so to kick things into high gear I’m offering the remaining weekday studio …appointments at a great discounted session fee. Only $35!

This applies to new bookings only. I have morning appointments available on Jan. 12th, 19th, 20th, 26th, and 27th. I also have the afternoon of Jan. 21st available.

Just a quick message to let everyone know that the schedule is officially full for the remainder of this month. We are now scheduling for 2010.

Seniors, don’t forget that your sessions should take place no later than the first week of March. Weekends in Jan & Feb are already filling fast, so don’t delay booking your outdoor sessions!

Holiday update

My poor neglected blog, I barely make it over here anymore! If you happen to have a facebook account, please look for Kimberly Meng Photography, and become a fan. We have been using facebook much more recently to share recent client sessions, that way everyone can tag their photos. 

Now for the holiday update! We will be closed beginning December 19th, and will reopen on January 5th. I will have limited email access,  however I will not be conducting any phone consultations or client meetings during this time.

If you have a pending order right now, please note that the guaranteed date to order for delivery before the holidays was December 1st. Yes, we’re past that now! So for those of you with online galleries please get your orders to me asap if you are hoping to have them for the holidays. Also please remember that orders must be paid for in full before we can place the order at the lab.

I have a ton of sessions scheduled these next two weeks and then I am looking forward to spending some much needed time with my favorite little people at home. I hope everyone has a great Christmas and a wonderful new year!

Barely here

My computer is teetering on the edge on functionality right now…I don’t know how much more time I have with it before it goes BACK to the Geek Squad. If you can’t find me via email…that would be why. Pray for me. 

Busy busy!

Just a quick blog update to let everyone know that October is *completely* booked at this time. Also, the weekends for November are also booked.

There are some weekday appointments remaining in the 2nd and 3rd weeks of November.

It is looking like a holiday mini session will not be happening this year, because there is no time to squeeze one in! All of the rain we’ve had the past month has caused us to reschedule weekend sessions again and again, which has swamped the schedule.

Whoever is in charge of the rain…a break, please? 

Country Boys

I am soooo behind on blogging recent sessions, but want to share a few from this session for mom! These were such handsome little guys, and I LOVED their tractors and fun toys they brought along.

So the good news is that the website is up now (yay!). The bad news – my phone appears to have taken a vacation over the weekend and run away. It is MIA, and tearing up my house and car haven’t turned it up yet.

2010 Live Oak High School Senior Reps

We finalized all of our reps last week and did one big downtown session on Sunday with them. It was SO hot and muggy and some of the locations had not so pleasant smells (lol) but everyone did so well. I heard no complaints, and was so impressed with what great troopers they all were, especially considering shooting 5 teenagers at one time turned out to be more time consuming than I had planned. Eek.

So here they are!
