First and last!

So while we’ve been dealing with the move, I’ve also been fitting in some sweet new little clients.

Getting settled in.

So we wrapped up our (6th?!?) move into the new studio over the weekend. Yes, I moved again.

The new studio is located at 123 N. Range Avenue, and I am sharing the space with another (great!) local photographer. We will continue to operate our businesses as we always have – completely independent of one another, just rotating what days we have use of the studio. And by doing that, we now have an *enormous* studio with so many possibilities!

Between the two of us, I think you’d be very hard pressed to find another local studio that could out number the options we have when it comes to backdrops & props. Maybe we’ll start fancying ourselves as “the largest children’s photography studio” in the area? Hmm, we very well may be.

There is still a TON of work to be done to pretty up the old historic building we are in, and I know we are both anxious to get our windows filled with beautiful photographs of our sweet little clients. We will continue to work hard to finish all the odds and ends, but in the meantime we are fully up and running, so we hope to see you soon!

Summer Days

It’s been a busy summer, and as it comes to a close all I can think is…oh my goodness, the holidays are right around the corner! It seems crazy to be thinking of holiday photos when it’s just barely September, but it is definitely time. Sept & Oct bring the start of holiday season….time for all those family portraits, and planning holiday cards!

The weekends are already booking up fast so don’t delay if you are thinking of booking a fall or holiday session.

Website is down!

The website is down right now – hopefully this is very temporary. I believe the company I host with is located on the East coast, so it may be weather related. I’m hoping everyone is safe, and we are back up and running soon!

Curls curls curls!

I got to meet handsome Mr. “E” recently. “E” is a few months shy of turning 4, so I knew this would be fun! This age is full of giggles and silly faces, and he did not disappoint. I make no secret of the fact that if I could freeze my children at any age, it would be 4 years old. That is just the *best* time! Full of personality, always exploring and asking questions…it’s too bad we only get to keep them that way for one short year.

So here he is…head full of beautiful curls and all!

Sweet Harper ♥

I am trying to get back in the swing of blogging, since I have sort of abandoned it for facebook. I was looking through the recent sessions there and realized this little beauty had not been shared! So here she is! Harper came to me all the way from Houma, and she was a perfect angel through her session.

Maternity Special Offer for July

For the entire month of July clients who have/had a maternity session can order a digital copy of their final images for an additional $249. This special is available for sessions that take place in July, and for clients who previously had a maternity session anytime in 2011.  Digital files are only available after the purchase of the Exclusive Maternity Session.

Sweet little Sofia

I photographed this little doll last year when she was only days old, and I was thrilled to get to see her again to take her 1 year photos. She and her family are just beautiful and made my job very easy!

Digital Session success :)

Last month I offered 5 digital session spots. These were regular full sessions, but instead of ordering prints at the end the clients got their images in high resolution digital files. It was a big success, the sessions booked fast and everyone loved their photos.

So I think maybe we need to do it again? Hmmm…
