We had pretty nice weather for Lacey’s maternity session at the beautiful Rosedown plantation in St. Francisville – considering it IS August in Louisiana. 🙂
Isn’t she lovely?
I just love working with newborn babies! The best time to photograph newborns is within their first 2 weeks, with around a week old being ideal. We can get great, sleepy little squishy images that way!
Here are some newborns I’ve gotten to snuggle with recently. 🙂
If you’re expecting a little one, send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org, or call 937-4584 to schedule your baby’s session!

As always, the poor blog gets neglected! With everyone on facebook it’s so easy to forget that I should still share something *here* from time to time.🙂
So here’s a little mix of what I’ve been photographing lately…newborn babies, bigger babies, beautiful mamas to be and so on!
I photographed this lovely family at their beautiful camp on the river. Their boys were so well mannered, and even the dog gave me a big smile. It doesn’t get much better than that! 🙂

Spring weather is coming soon – it will be a great time for outdoor sessions!
(even though I still have lots of sessions to share from then!)
What a nice way to wrap up the year! This little lady was my last session of 2013, on December 30th. She did a fantastic job, and so did her adorable big brother who I was also able to photograph when he was a newborn just over 2 years earlier.
Here are a couple cuties from December. They both did so well during their sessions!
